Nintendo gives Blake’s nightmares a logo

Blake hasn’t been sleeping well. He comes into work lethargic and drowsy. Once in a while, he’ll drop whatever he’s doing and start waggling his arms and humming loudly and out of tune.
I think it’s the Wii Music. He went into involuntary convulsions when he saw this logo released by Nintendo. I voluntarily joined him.

What’s funny is, like it or not, that little logo will help sell over 10 bazillion copies of this game / program.

Yeah I most likely will pick up a copy to play with friends and nephews.

I got to play this at PAX, and to tell the truth, it was pretty fun.

after seeing more and more of the instruments, i’m getting excited about this. its true they made it look like ass at the press conference but on its own it looks like it could turn out pretty entertaining and unique, like electroplankton.
at this point, it’s just cool to make fun of it and fanboy to defend it. people cant just enjoy something without being labeled.

I think we just need to accept, before we add this to the slim list of “bad” Miyamoto games, that this is just for a different audience. Over 70 percent of the Wii’s install base will likely think this is the best thing since the Wii itself.

uh…what logo?

I hope it is as much fun as Electroplankton…

Necro: The big one at the top of the article.

Let’s see this rise to heights that’ll rival WiiPlay (then again there’s no extra controller to help it gain value
). I just want them to finish Wii Sports 2 and hopefully give us more than just 5 games this time.
Well I guess Blake just found one core title he doesn’t like. I’m sure many others that aren’t musically inclined may actually enjoy it.

It’s gonna take a lot more than what I’ve seen of Wii Music to sell me on this thing… I’m a staunch supporter of the Myamoto man, but I think this time he may have lost a few too many of his marbles.

I’ve actually been looking forward to this “game” since the “revolution!” I don’t care really care if there’s no points. It’s still a rhythm game where you can make music that sounds good or bad. If you took away the scoring from Parappa the Rapper, you’d still have a fun game — now that I think about it I never really paid attention to the score anyway!
