DmNt, stop falling behind and wasting our time with your uneducated posts.

disaster is already confirmed to still be in production, not on hold, and it was never said to come out this year, nor was sadness.

its good those things are being kept for next year since this year, the second half especially (as is usual with gaming) is packed with nintendo goodness.

they need something for next year, they basically have kirby, mario kart, disaster, and sadness confirmed. i am sure more are coming also, but the more the better.

Battalion Wars 2 was playable at LAST year's E3. And it wasn't just a port. They've added more units, the ability to have ships at your command, easier aiming and switching of characters and it will have a few multiplayer modes. Hey, they had an article on it in the last Nintendo Power.

i dont see how not having a presense at e3 makes BW2 a gamecube port. the game was shown last year at the german gaming event, and was already using wii controls with wii level graphics. you can compare it to GC games graphics to see the difference. i have played the game alot, i am very excited for this game, but online has been in developers hands for months now, and the game still has a few months til release, and the Wii is plenty powerful enough to handle the bandwidth of the game. if you missed the nintendo presentation, a WW2 game was announced that will have 32player online, this year. sports games going online this year. online is here and will be well established by the end of october.

as far as the release date goes, oct 29 is not suspicious. when a release date is given, its the ship date. 29th is a monday, for release on tuesday, the most common release date for games/movies. it was originally given a vague september release on a nintendo press release a few months ago, but this date is the first confirmed solid date, therefore it does look likely that it will happen.

They better put online play in BWii or else there's no way to play multiplayer really. These are epic battles and split screen will just not fly with the kind of game it is. I'm sure a basic online mode would be in place for co-op as well as 1-1 skirmishes at least. Plus we have to understand BWii is a first party IP but being developed by a Third Party, Kuju.

Well, well.. November 12th, eh? Now I can let the boss know that I won't be in to work that week.. :-D

(Hopefully they won't bump the release date like they did with Metroid..)
