Hey, the Wii controllers are great, but who can't say the WaveBird was the greatest "traditional" controller ever? It definitely beats the crap out of that horrible controller Sony decided to stick with (why???) and I like it better than the Xbox 360 controller too.

Normally I'd that that this comment should be a sign of alarm, meaning that the Wii controls are most likely tacked-on or not very important to the gameplay.

...but we must recall the DS and that Nintendo itself urges develoeprs NOT to force motion controls. So what if the controls may be tacked on or not as precise as an analog stick? The point is to deliver great gameplay. Some games benefit from added motion controls.

For example: DBZ:BT2 rocks with the wiimote but is "meh" with GC controls, yet my cousin preffers it as he's so used to it and doesn't get the motions. Smash Brothers will work in a similar way so let's just let it rest.

Great to know my GC control will be getting even more use, let's just hope that the Wiimote controls aren't frustrating for novices.

That's expected seeing as they put no motion controls into the game.

From what I can tell, the developers are just afraid of change. They like it because it feels like the Saturn controller.

Nothing wrong with that, I guess...

That is really ironic, being that most of the fans that asked for this game to be ported to Wii did so precisely because of the Wii-mote controls!
