New Super Mario 3D Land details surface, good news for all the not so good players of the world

Super Mario 3D Land (that title doesn’t get any easier to say, no matter how many times I type it) is right around the corner, and more info on the title continues to pop up. Over in Japan, dummy boxes have begun to emerge at retailers revealing some new tidbits about the game.

Paired with a few new screenshots is some info on how Nintendo plans to use the consoles SpotPass feature for the game. In game items will be tradable with other players through the 3DS’s Internet connection. The game will also sport the use of the Assist Blocks which when stuck, will give you a special item that can help you out.

My excitement for this new Mario title is at an all time high. I need something, anything, else to keep my 3DS busy nowadays aside from the weekly downloadable eShop titles. You hear that Nintendo? I want to spend money! Give me games!
