A new Pikmin game is coming, and it’s not the GameCube port.
Speaking to Kombo, Nintendo representatives have clarified a new Pikmin title is being made in addition to the GameCube port.
They are apparently two different games, easing concerns that the fabled “Pikmin 3” is actually just a new version of the first game.
Shigeru Miyamoto announced he is “making Pikmin” at E3 in July. Nintendo has not revealed specifics regarding the new Pikmin, which did not make an appearance at today’s press conference.
