New games coming out this week:
DS
Arkanoid DS
Code Lyoko: Fall of X.A.N.A.
Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard
Imagine Rock Star
Space Invaders Extreme
Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3
Wacky Races: Crash & Dash
Wii
Wacky Races: Crash & Dash
Personally, I’m really excited about the Square Enix updates of two classic arcade games with Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extreme. What are your picks this week?

Hm, what actually caught my attention was Code:LYOKO. Didn’t think they’d make a game, and I’m somewhat a fan of the show.

Sorry, but that split screen on Arkanoid looks like it would drive me insane in just a matter of seconds.
In fact there really isn’t much here at all this week that looks even remotely interesting for me. Once again, I think I’ll wait and see what is released tomorrow for the VC and / or the Wiiware.

Arkanoid is a turd (you can download a demo from the Nintendo channel), but Space Invaders looks HAWTT. Considering its only 20 bux, I’ll be picking it up day one!

@HyperSonic: The Code: Lyoko game being released this week is the second Code: Lyoko game for the DS.
I’ve got that one pre-ordered; I thought the first was fairly fun, even though some of the controls kinda stuck.

Space Invaders Extreme and Etrian Odyssey II are my games for this week. I’m also in for SamSho on VC.

Arkanoid is awesome if you have the paddle controller. It’s a ton of simple classic fun. I will pick it up and probably Space Invaders for the PSP. The pumping techno soundtrack is so much better on the PSP which doesnt’ suffer the 8 bit sound of the DS. Needless to say the graphics are much better also. But when I think about my nifty paddle controller, I may have to get both platforms.
