Naomi Rubin (???)
Naomi started writing for Infendo in the Winter of 2006 just before traveling to Japan for a semester on study abroad. Now, just recently graduated from Macalester college in St. Paul, Minnesota with a BA in Japanese language, she has returned to Japan to work at a comic book company and continue to report on all the Japanese news surrounding Nintendo and its impact on the Japanese and international gaming world.
Naomi inherited the gaming genome from her mother Marley who is an expert at Pac Man, Tetris, and nowadays any iteration of Bejewled, and the two have often played games for hours side by side in an upstairs “office” that is filled with gaming consoles.
Naomi is way too interested in Japanese videogames and has twice taken the initiative to build Dance Dance Revolution pads from spare controllers and knows how to dremel Super Famicom and Japanese Nintendo 64 cartridges so that they will work in American systems.
