Mr. T game in development

This is somewhat old news, but it never really got much coverage. ZootFly, a Slovenian game developer is currently working on a game based on the Mr. T series of graphic novels for the Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It will be composed of platforming, puzzles, and beat ’em up elements.

As if that wasn’t ridiculous enough, the plot focuses on Mr. T in fierce combat with a mechanized Nazi army in the South American jungle. T joins up with a fictionalized version of game designer Will Wright, portrayed as a geneticist to terminate the Nazi threat.

ZootFly has never really had a stellar release before, so I can’t determine if this game will be legitimately good, or just more shovelware.

I’ll be honest with you. Starting from the article title, I thought that this was a hoax, and by the time I reached the bottom, I was almost certain of it; that is, until I googled it and confirmed that this is actually a real game.

Now I really have seen everything, that is, until the sequel comes out with Miyamoto fighting zombie communists.

Imagine my surprise when I first discovered it while skimming through the Game Forecast section of this month’s Nintendo Power.

    Can’t wait for Evangelical bible-thumping sections…

Zootfly are the folks who piqued everyone’s interest in a Ghostbusters game. They had a demo running about two years ago and released footage of it on the web.

    WTF?

Take the random, irrelevant religion-bashing elsewhere, troll.

A born-again Christian who had an advert pulled because of an anti-gay message. Pushes bad bad junk-food manufactured by unethical billionaire industries at impressionable uninformed mass consumers.

Mr. T won’t be getting my money for his GAME (there’s your GAMING RELEVANCE right there!)

It’s okay for me to have an opinion, you know. Those with different viewpoints aren’t automatically trolls FFS.

This is a news post about a Mr. T game and you’re using it as a political/social soapbox.
I don’t know what circles you run in, but in my neck of the Nintendo fan woods that’s troll behavior 101.

The internet never ceases to amuse me. Question someone, anyone’s comment, on any part of the web and you get the same stock answer: “it’s okay for me to have an opinion, you know”. I honestly don’t give a fuck whether it’s okay for you to have an opinion when your post was made with the implicit purpose to offend.

To paraphrase Mr. T himself, I pity da fool who is so butthurt by religion that he has to whine about it when the remotest of opportunities arise. This post had nothing to do with Mr. T’s beliefs, it had to do a Mr. T video game. Go bitch about your moral outrage elsewhere.
