Modern “Nintendo Championships” a worthwhile event, says one Infendo reader

Infendo reader Brysson Blackwell writes in:

I competed in the parent teen division this weekend at the Wii Summer Games and took second place. In the final, we were on stage in front of about a 1,000 people. It was pretty nerve racking, but a ton of fun.

Playable games included Epic Mickey, Goldeneye, Just Dance 2, Flingsmash, Pokepark, DK Country, Kirby Epic Yarn, and Wii Party. I got busted taking pictures of the soon to be released games and they insisted on watching as I deleted them from my camera.

Overall, it was really quite an event. I’m surprised it didn’t get more coverage.

Wish I could’ve been there, sounded like a great event. Especially since it was open to people of all ages to compete.

I think me and my wife could’ve had fun with it.
