Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D demo hits the eShop this week!

February is a busy month for 3DS gamers. Just last week one of the systems most highly anticipated titles dropped for the handheld in Resident Evil: Revelations, and in one short week we will be treated with another great game in Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. It is somewhat strange that the series is picking up on the 3DS with the third (technically fifth, but that’s another story entirely) entry in the franchise, seeing as how Nintendo gamers have only ever seen the remake Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, but hey, we’ll take what we can get.

Not sold on the whole Metal Gear concept yet but still what to see what all the noise is about? Well, I’ve got some good news for you. Konami just dropped us a line to let us know that the demo would be hitting the eShop this Thursday. Great news for all of the stealth-heads among us who are itching to take Snake through the paces on the 3DS.

I have very little experience with the Metal Gear series aside from a few hours of Twin Snakes and playing as Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but this is one 3DS title that has been on my radar since playing it at last year’s E3. Is anyone else looking forward to picking this up on February 21st?
