Mega Man 9 hits this Monday, September 22. It arrives on WiiWare first, then PlayStation Network, and finally Xbox 360.
I’ve been preparing for this day for a while now, and I very well may skip work Monday to play this ambitious new– er, retro-new title– all day.

Ambitious? Yea right, I preordered Entrenchment for Sins of a Solar Empire over MegaMan 9.

Dang, I saw “Sept. 22″ and thought “That’s so long from now…. =(” but realized it’s already the 19th. I still thought it was early September… I lost track of time hardcore. MONDAY MORNING!

I doubt I will buy it (please don’t kill me!). Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great what they’ve done but I’d much rather a new Megaman game in the style of new Super Mario Bros… as opposed to this new age retro.

I’m definitely very excited for it (as I’ve made clear in past comments) and can’t wait, and while I considered taking Monday off of work just to download/play it, I know in my heart that that’s the wrong thing to do (and I have some fun car payments to take care of, so every hour counts, really).
Anyway, can’t wait! Hope Nintendo doesn’t pull a fast one on us and choose not to release it on Monday. They do that sometimes, you know.

Andrew G. You are my hero, lol. You know what? All games rocks, period. I respect your passion for your childhood memories…even though I think Capcom is doing something that I am kinda against, lol.
