Just over eight months ago, Ellen DeGeneres was giving away a Wii on her show while we were still camping out. Now Martha Stewart shares the Wii love with this lovely cake shaped like the world’s hottest video game console. The Wii gets even more mainstream … and that’s a good thing!

i’m not sure martha and her associated audience are crying out for more deep games and online connectivity. and therefore am not impressed with this mainstream association. it just continues to give nintendo another reason to drag its feet on the asks of hardcore gamers.

    Any port in a storm.

Nintendo should be happy that finally third party publishers take full notice of the Nintendo Wii – if the ports are good why not?
