I _can_ understand when it seems like opponents have an unfairly comprehensive knowledge of a game’s mechanics (oh wave-dashing, how I hate thee).

But I was introduced to snaking very early on in Mario Kart 64. In fact, it was presented to me as a built in feature required for success, not an exploit. So I’ve never had a problem with it. Is it really that hated?

This is good news.

You know, for all its restrictions and limited options…Mario Kart DS is still an absolute blast to play online with friends and family. And as long as Nintendo allows me to play online with the people I care about, I am pleased with their online service.

@Pnut: many matches have been troubled by lag, for non-friend matches the match making software isn’t working right so you will often sit for very long periods while the system is “searching” for opponents, you’ll get dropped from from the match for seemingly no reason.

Basically it’s a bunch of problems that stem from not being able to load test the servers/software with the number of people that are trying to play brawl right now. IMO they just need a little bit of time to work out the bugs that the popularity of the game made apparent all at once instead of over time.
