It seems like a Klonoa port is headed to the Nintendo Wii with a graphical update. The game is a remake of Door to Phantomile which was released on the PlayStation back in 1998. The updated adventure will feature cell shaded graphics, and Wii remote NES style controls and will be hitting Japan on Dec 4th for 4800 yen. Who knows if it will see the light of day in the US, hit the jump for more magazine scans.
Are you serious?? This is so awesome… Klonoa was one of my very favorite PSX games. It’s always been so underrated that I’d have never seen a Wii-make coming. Can’t wait to see what they do with it, because take my word for it they have a really solid base to start from in Klonoa’s 2.5D Platformer.
My god, I hope Klonoa makes it to Wii in America! I played the demo on the Ridge Racer Type 4 demo disc, and I only rented the game once from Blockbuster years ago. If I can download it on the Virtual Console, that will save me from having to track down an expensive copy from some E bay seller.
