Just so you know, guys, GameStop is probably the only store that is selling the Wii Zapper for $25! Sears, for example, is listing it at the previously announced $20! It is not the first time that a game is $5 higher at GameStop at launch, and then they correct it a month later or so…

Is it true Scott might leave Infendo Radio? :[

I know that Scott is VERY busy with multiple projects, plus its Holiday season. Infendo Radio is one he can more easily put aside for a while, but I don’t think he would permanently leave.

He best not be leaving.
Great podcast guys, at first i thought you might not be talking about Galaxy since you started with a “nothing good’s coming out this week” topic. But nonetheless the discussion had some great points, you guys always know how to keep it moving and not being redundant helps.
One thing i notice though, Blake – you’re seem somewhat less-relaxed when you’re taking the hosting seat. No need brother, your laid-back comical self-depreciating personality goes a long way. Plus the random impressions crack me up enough to pause and rewind. Keeps me coming back.
happy wiiny-versary.

The issue you describe with playing VC games off of SD cards is moot. If the only thing stopping you from playing a VC game off of your friend’s SD card was the fact that you couldn’t load games off of an SD card, then all you would have to do would be to copy that game to the internal flash.
What prevents you from playing other peoples’ VC games is the fact that the Wii encrypts them with its own unique key when it stores them to flash memory. VC games can still be DRM’ed in this way, even if they were played directly off of the SD card.
Nintendo’s motives remain a unknown as to why they have forbidden this, but we do know that it’s not a matter of people playing them on more than one system, since that’s already addressed by the DRM.

Manhunt 2 salles:
PS2: 82,036
Wii: 74,539
They are staying pretty close on 2nd week. This looks good for the Wii considering the huge deferent on installed bases on each console, and the stereotype Sony-Nintendo had coming from last gen.

Blake, Do you think people meant play a wii flash game? Like..WiiCade bubble game?

@CaliHurBoy:
Good point. There are many flash games made specifically for the Wii, with support for multiple Wii remotes as input. As long as you have the Internet Channel, it’s easy to add a bookmark and access them anytime you’d like.
However, I also don’t think it’s outrageous to be able to buy and download similar games (hopefully with a more professional polish) onto your Wii. Fun gameplay, quick and easy access, and a low selling price makes WiiWare a great option…
