Great to hear positive things about Wii Sports Resort. Looking forward to it. Curious about how much interaction you have within the island setting. Can you walk your Mii around the island to go to different areas for different events, or do you just pick them from a menu?
Back when Camelot was pumping out awesome sports-RPGs Mario Tennis and Golf on GBA, I had this great idea for a Mario Country Club game, incorporating tennis, golf, lots of card and parlor games in a simulated clubhouse, character interaction and events like tournaments. A little island navigation and Mii interactions could bring Resort closer to this idea.

For those of you interested in Harry Potter, I suggest you go back and check out my E3 write up: http://www.infendo.com/wii/e3-09-harry-potter-and-the-half-blood-prince-better-than-youd-think/
It will give you a better idea of multiple gameplay styles that make up the game – the open world mechanic is my favorite part, because I feel Harry Potter fans will appreciate being able to explore the castle enough to overshadow some of the games less shiny features – but I want to make sure you guys go in well informed, so give the article a look before you rush out and spend any dough.

Oh, and ECC – I don’t know if it’s fair to say we hate the conduit – a lot of us haven’t even played through it yet.
I’m looking forward to trying the full game, I haven’t had a chance to try it since E3, and I’m hearing generally good things – even about what I considered to be a kind of slow moving multiplayer.
