@The dude who haven’t played Chrono Trigger
Fire Emblem series are for kids, you want to be a man, you should play the original FF:Tactic, or try the very first advance war on the GBA. Fire Emblem is way too easy, one man kills a whole army = brain dead mechanic.
By the way, me think FE’s story line has too much cheese.

I love Final Fantasy Tactics, Ramza, Beowulf, Mustadio, and all them lovable characters, but I think that Fire Emblem is a series that defines tactics games. Unlike Final Fantasy Tactics, you make one bad move, it’s not that bad you can recover; and not permanently lose a character. In fire emblem one bad move can get a character permanently killed.
The challenge is to safely pass through multiple areas and collect as many PC’s as possible. Fire Emblem has the challenge, but Final Fantasy Tactics has the story.

@Will
Hi, have you ever played Langrisser back the sega and nes days? You will permanently lose a defeated character in the first Langrisser. Since Langrisser II is one of my favorite game as kid, I wonder if you ever played it, and what do you think of it. I mainly played the Genesis version, but got into the SNES version much later.

Fire Emblem is for kids . . . is this a joke?
“one man kills a whole army = brain dead mechanic”
This sounds like you’ve only played the first couple of battles in a FE game where, admittedly, you are provided with an overpowered character.

“One man kills a whole army = brain dead mechanic.”
Obviously, you’ve never seen John Rambo.
