Pretty good job! Oh yeah, and happy birthday Blake!
When I was listening to it, I heard several audio drop-outs and garbled audio bits – was this just me?

@joltman – that was Skype, not you. Sometimes, the Skype-lord smiles upon us, other days it frowns.

Happy Birthday old man!
Weird sounding cutouts, but a good show nonetheless.
In reference to the Ace Attorney games, I’ve had issues with some cases, but I end up just going through all the text again and choosing every option possible. I get annoyed when it’s some stupid little thing that holds you back from moving on in the game . . . especially when you’ve gotten the case “solved.”
In all honesty, I have no interest in those games anymore.

I was sad to here the Wario Land hate. We haven’t even seen the game in motion so we cannot yet judge the animation quality or whether or not it looks like an SNES game. In this age of constant 3D graphics, I look forward to 2D games, especially 2D platformers. 3D platformers just aren’t as good as 2d platformers.

Great show guys.
Favorite moment: when you declared that a hardcore gamer is someone who has finished Castlevania.
That game is brutally hard, and one that always kicked my rear once Death appeared in his boss form… but over the past couple of months (literally) I’ve played a few minutes here and there, and slowly improved. Then – just last week – I had a breakthrough and actually managed to beat the title! Hardcore = me. Yay!
Biggest surprise: The harsh words for the upcoming Wario title. There is no reason to get super excited and hyped up, but don’t be biased against it prematurely.
Many title don’t look like much when first shown, but end up being entirely worth playing. (Boom Blox, Defend Your Castle, Trauma Center, WarioWare, PixelJunk titles, and a bunch more can be held up as examples. Won’t appeal to everyone, but all good solid games.)
Oh, and Happy Birthday Blake!

I still say that a more current definition of a hardcore gamer is someone who finished Etrian Odyssey, but that’s a more personal definition…
I was going to wish you a Happy Birthday, Blake, but then, 1) I’m a little late, and 2) You bashed in on one of Pixar’s finest works yet, Wall-E… Shame on you! (OK, let’s put this in perspective: Blake actually liked Hook and hated A.I.!)

Good show, but I did notice that the sound would cut out for bits here and there, you might wanna check on that.
Anyway, you were asking what Bands would people buy a full game of Guitar Hero Based around…well, personally I’d say Foo Fighters. Not only are they a great band, but their music varies greatly from a first album which is filled with early 90’s style grunge, later they would come out with music which varied anywhere from more polished booming arena athems to stripped down straight-forward rocking and their current album which falls somewhere in between and represents their best work yet.
