Happy New Years Infendoites! So where exactly were you guys when the ball dropped. I’m pretty sure we all knew Link was in Termina, but we want to know what exactly you guys were doing. Did you have fun, play any games, make any solid New Years Resolutions? Let us know in the comments.
Yeah, I made a resolution to actually finish my Personal Management and Personal Fitness Merit Badges this year, since I need those for my Eagle Scout rank (which I’m very close to). Yeah, I’m a Boy Scout.
Good for you man, I made Eagle by the skin of my teeth – the day before my 18th birthday. Personal Fitness and Management aren’t that hard, you’ll get’em.
I met up with my old friends from high school, and we played games and messed around – we almost missed the new year!
OURS WAS KEWL
=]
HAD FRIENDS AND FAMILY OVER
PLAYED GUITAR HERO
GOT MERCURY MELTDOWN (I CANT BELIVE HOW ADDICTING IT IS!)
AND THEN PLAYED SOME SUPER MARIO BROS AND GALAGA
OLD SCHOOL BABY B]
I’m using the holiday break to enjoy de Blob (great game) as well as the translation patches I found for a few SNES RPGs. Anyone who loved that era as much as I did should check out Live A Live, Treasure Hunter G, Shin Megami Tensei 1/2, and Final Fantasy 5, though I suspect many have played FF5 in some other form already.
Went to a friend’s house and played some board games. We ordered pizza and watched the ball drop on television. Resolutions are for people who are dissatisfied with themselves.
I celebrated the New Year trying to watch what I could find of the Resident Evil: Degeneration movie on YouTube. I just wish CAPCOM would release the movie on DVD instead of Blu-Ray ONLY like I heard about a week and a half back. -__-That, and I welcomed in the 2009 New Year in with Animal Crossing: City Folk. I know some people here that would say that doing that is childish and noobish. -__-
@Sean:
I did the exact same thing in getting my Eagle.
I played Brawl for a couple of hours with some other guys. I plan on playing more games on my Wii.

We did picture-in-picture on the TV. Dick Clark was in the lower corner while we counted down with Tortimer on Animal Crossing!

Played Sonic Chronicles a bit then watched Clerks 2 with the cast commentary. No resolutions for me, I don’t do that kind of thing.

Played Facebreakers K.O. Party, drank some wine, made love to my wife. Resolutions? To play more games and to get my nintendo website up and running.

Yo Wii Luigi
Check Amazon, I ordered mine on DVD from there.
Also, I spent New Years at my bros house party, it was so cash. It was worth being sick all day today.

I played games with a few friends — World Tour, Mario Kart Wii and Mirror’s Edge, mostly. I’ve never been a major fan of big New Year’s celebrations.
