they all still look like they have an unfortunate genetic condition, but at least it does look decent in motion. this game isn’t about graphics, though, and i’ll probably buy it to destroy you all online with my mad racket skills. unless there’s an adaquate 1:1 tennis game coming from Sega that doesn’t look like ass, but that’s a big unless.
Not too long ago, EA announced that they were going to put more effort into producing quality Wii specific games. After watching the demo for this and the new Tiger Woods game, I do believe that they really meant it. I hope this is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship between EA, and Nintendo. And, I hope other developers start following EA’s lead, and start making more of these high quality Wii specific games.
I’m split. Wii Motion Plus is what the Wii promised, so it kind of hurts that it’s an addon. Perhaps Nintendo never actually promised 1 to 1 motion, but it’s what I expected.
So, to finally have it is a blessing, but it leaves me with a bit of a sour taste.
That said, if this doesn’t have mp, but Wii Motion Plus, I’ll just chalk it up as another Wii game they only put some effort into, but not full effort, which is what hurts the most as even without Motion Plus there is so much to do with the Wii.
Motion Plus and multiplayer equates to an ultimate win for me. Any less and I’ll continue to be disappointed, unfortunately. That doesn’t mean I won’t have fun.
I myself am excited about this game. I actually recently wrote a blog summarizing how MotionPlus is working excellent for this game and Tiger Woods. I myself am more excited about Tiger Woods than Grand Slam tennis, but hopefully I will have enough finances to buy both.
I can stand Ghostbusters with this type of character graphics, but I almost can’t stand a tennis game looking like this.

@Joshdad I was thinking the same thing. I’ve never been interested in an EA Sports game in my life. Tennis and Golf are looking pretty good.
