Nintendo and The Pokemon Company had been teasing a special announcement last week, which left some of us pondering the possibilities. Now, the surprise both companies have been touting is a special Pokemon-themed treasure hunt. In this new promotion, you can collect various codes to enter to win different types of Pokemon prizes. The Pokemon Company states that they’ll be hiding codes all over the web up until the release of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y on October 12.

That’s not all. A new Pokemon music video has been released alongside the promotion. The video (titled “Catchatronic”), which leads to the website GottaCatchEmAll.com, was produced by famed electronica artist Pogo. A collection of clips from the Pokemon television show are mashed together with the popular “Gotta Catch Em All” theme set to Pogo’s electronic beats. If you look closely, a special code is provided to enter the Gotta Catch Em All website. But, since we’re nice, we’ll provide it for you anyway (XY1012).

For years, he has purchased every one of the company's subsequent products (yes, including the Virtual Boy and eReader). It wasn't until he was a young teen when he bought a PS2 that he began to embrace cross-console relations, a decision he doesn't regret. When he's not gaming, Harrison is looking to break into the magazine journalism industry and realize his dream of becoming a features reporter.
