This weekend marks the end of my DS Lite’s place in my arsenal of gaming gear. It’s been a great pal and was a prime motivational goal for me several years ago to lose some weight. Tonight I’ll take a trip down memory lane with some of my favorite games from the system, like Rhythm Heaven, Chibi Robo Park Patrol, Kirby Superstar Saga, Picross, Puzzle Quest 2, Fire Emblem, DQ9, and the Professor Layton games. Come Sunday, though, I’ll be moving on to the 3DS. Glad I could go out with a bang last weekend, finishing Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, too!
The ol’ Lite will find a new home with a family member, along with a selection of games that I’m willing to part with, so I won’t feel too bad.
Anyone else out there saying farewell to their old DS in favor of the 3DS?
