A short clip of a television show in Japan that focuses on tough video games. This is a clip from an episode dealing with Mother a Japanese only title which sequel was released in the US as Earthbound on the Super Nintendo. Anyway it’s a bit weird and quirky, but kind of funny.

Great post! Glad to hear people talking about the Mother series. We posted a couple of things yesterday on EarthBound and Mother 3. I really wish Nintendo would release the damn thing in the US already.

So THAT’S why I can’t get any farther in life! I haven’t leveled up enough and I haven’t purchased the necessary items for my friends!

Apparently no one has bothered to read the part in the manuel where it says,
“Though shall take your Earthbound journeys to America, where it will make even more money for thy pockets, making one’s life richer both figuratively and metaphorically.”
I dunno. Earthbound seemed too acid-trippy to me. As you got closer to the end, things just got more and more confusing.
