Miyamoto Edition Gold Game Boy SP sells for $$$
Tuesday, April 24th, 2007 at 12:17pm by StaffOK, so some of us gamers are trying to get Shigeru Miyamoto onto TIME’s Top 100 people list because we think he’s important and we’re not worthy, etc. etc. But is he $2,157 important?
That’s right. The gold SP above sold for $2,157 on April 16 to some “lucky” eBayer. Worth it? I have no idea, but here’s hoping the seller uses some of that scratch to buy a camera with a working flash.

I saw that at the Nintendo Store in NYC, I wonder if there’s more than one. I also saw that really cool Pikachu styled GameBoy Micro which I’d like to get my hands on.

Wow, $2000 for a signed Limited Edition Gold GBA SP?
I wonder how much would a copy of Yoshi’s Island (SNES) and a Limited
Gold Edition of Ocarina of Time - both signed by Shigeru Miyamoto go for? I may be interested in selling them - sounds tempting.
