This looks better than I expected, but screenshots are infinitely less important than gameplay. Let’s see the game in motion and see how it looks!
Frankly, I’m not sure about buying regardless of the quality. Activision has done a shit job of supporting Wii so far, and creating a two-year old port that takes advantage of the MW2 release is not exactly offering Wii owners something fun and unique. But gameplay trumps personal objections… and if the Modern Warfare is really tight and worth owning then I’d probably cough up money to support it.
I doubt I’ll get this after playing it on the PS3, especially seeing as modern warfare 2 is just about to come out.
Saying that though, this does look better than I was expected, but like skeptical, gameplay is way more important than stills.
Treyarch/Activision actually did a decent port of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows for Wii, all of the problems with that game were present in the 360 version. The game was “meh,” but the port was fairly well done. They can probably make this work.
funny, in my view screenshots look ugly compared to the actual gameplay…my wii WaW looks better at first glance

Geometry aside, those textures are looking rather vaseline-smeared-N64-esque… not pretty.
WaW on Wii looked /much/ sharper than this. Seriously.

Wow, anyone who says this game looks amazing hasn’t looked at the textures yet. Those textures (especially on the characters) are way too muddy and look terrible. Some of them also look stretched. THat’s not a good thing at all. But for those who haven’t played this game yet, you should pick it up because it is a good game.
But I don’t think the team cared to much for this port as MW 2 is just around the corner and this game is two years old now.
