  1. Jamie says:

Yeah it was a mobile game, and just like on wii it was episodic, I hope it doesn’t cost 1000 per episode, especially when not long after this is released we’ll be able to go out and buy Final Fantasy 13 (likely a bigger game than all 9 episodes combined) for way under that price.
Even still, I’ll likely still buy it as it’s released, though, I still haven’t even finished FF4 for the DS, I should get onto that before this is released.

Also, any idea when this is out in Europe?

Also what’s with this whole page thing? I’m not a fan, I like to just open my RSS linker folder in my firefox bookmarks and read what’s there, I don’t really want to have to go from that link, to another link, and then to another link just to read the whole story…

  3. EthoSoccer says:

    @Jamie

Advertisement money I almost guarantee it.

  4. Abysmal says:

Wow. I knew that it was episodic on the mobile phone, but I figured they’d merge them all together for the WiiWare release. Otherwise, that’s just silly.

  5. Sean says:

It depends how long each episode is, and how cheap/expensive they are. FFIV is my favorite of the series, but i’m not paying 500 points for thirty minutes of play.

  6. InvisibleMan says:

Wait a minute… I don’t get it! Is this going to be played on the Wii, or on the DS? (The DSi only, in that case, I suppose…)

  7. McClain142 says:

Where do you get that it’s going to be 1000 points and nine episodes? Maybe I’m dumb but I didn’t see that on the site.

  8. Will says:

They haven’t released a price yet. Knowing how Square has operated over years, I can seem them pricing the game high and milking it.

Also if you checked the last page, I also said even if it was 500 nintendo points, it would still come out to something like 45$.

  9. McClain142 says:

Huh, well it was a little misleading the way you wrote it. Also, they haven’t said how it would be released here. Yes, it was released on cell phones in Japan in multiple downloads, but I would be surprised if they made it nine parts here. That would turn too many people off. It’ll probably either be one 2000 point game, or maybe a 1000 first part with two or three 500 point add ons.

“Also if you checked the last page, I also said even if it was 500 nintendo points, it would still come out to something like 45$.” — Don’t see where you said that, you might want to check it.

I’m really looking forward to this game, and assuming it doesn’t suck, I’ll gladly pay the cost of a DS game for it (and it would be even better if we could put it on a DSi).

  10. Lance says:

I don’t think SE will price them at 1000 a piece. 500 is more tolerable but if they were to have it below that, would be even better, but that probably won’t happen.

Seriously though, I don’t see how they could expand the story. it was solid on it’s own. If it’s already good, don’t mess with it. There weren’t any unanswered questions by the end (as far as I remember), so don’t mess with it. Now FFVII needed it as there were some things that were never well explained and Crisis Core did a great job of filling in most the gaps.

Maybe we’ll find out more at E3 this year.
