Zelda: Phantom Hourglass release date: October 1st

Let the countdown begin! Nintendo has announced an October 1st North American release date for The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The game was a massive hit in Japan when it was release in June.

That’s a great announcement. I live in Japan and have been avoiding picking up Phantom Hourglass, partly because my Japanese is terrible, but also because I’m still making my way through Twilight Princess. The videos I’ve seen of PH look extremely fun. And with a new control scheme, it feels like Nintendo might finally be putting a fresh spin on Zelda. October 1st - only 3 months away. Most satisfactory.

VERY excited! I love the Wind Waker art style, I think it fits the DS perfectly!

Ditto. I watched slew of videos of PH the other night with my wife and we were both drooling. It looks great. The DS is simply the best. There’s just too many games coming on it. Between Zelda, Ninja Gaiden, Dementium (HAVE YOU SEEN THIS GAME??!!!??!!!), a new FF Tactics and Crystal Chronicles…….there’s a reason this is the fastest selling system of all time.

I can’t wait…but seeing as I live in the UK I probably will have to wait an extra 3 or 4 months.
