Throwing InvisibleMan a Pokemon bone

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 at 8:58am by Jack

Pokemania!InvisibleMan, let no one criticize or mock you for your unabashed Poke-love ever again!

DS Fanboy:

Nintendo announced that Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have sold 10 million units worldwide. That’s one for every dollar in this year’s Publisher’s Clearinghouse sweepstakes. The games have sold a collective 5.2 million copies in Japan, with the US making up most of the rest. Diamond and Pearl just came out in Europe on the 27th, so expect this number to continue climbing.  Don’t expect the formula for Pokemon games to change any time soon. At this point, that would be harming the economy of a small nation, composed entirely of Pokemon game cartridges.

And I must say, after reading Penny-Arcade’s series on a Pokemon tournament, I am intrigued about this Pokemon phenomenon. A little.

    POKéMON ROCKS!!
I’m 18 and I aint ashamed that I like it, I’m in europe so I only picked it up last Friday, I’m loving it so far, just about to start pwning some gym leader butt in the 7th gym.

The only thing I would want to change about it is the game could do with using the DS’ graphical cababilities a little bit better, like using 3d sprites atleast, instead of the regular ones that I personally can see no difference in, from the GBA versions.

mmmmm… If I was InvisibleMan, I wouldn’t be playing pokemon, I would be all day in the girls locker room! I know, “why not the shower?” because I hate getting all wrinkly and probably would pass out due to the massive erection all day…

I stopped playing pokemon, early in the gba era, and I think I’m starting to regret it. I sorta feel like playing these. @_@

My kids are crazy for Diamond/Pearl. DS allows both one-on-one and coop battle modes as well as seamless Pokemon trading via Nintendo WiFi. Very slick.
