Poll: Which do you play more?

Between Metroid Prime 3 and Dragon Blade, my Wii has seen more action than my DS lately even though I’ve started Link’s latest portable conquest. So we ask you, Infendo Nation:
Which do you play more?

For me at the moment is Wii, I’ve been renting a lot of games recently. Haven’t really touched my DS since I stopped playing Pokemon diamond. Us Europeans get Phantom Hourglass on Friday though so that is all likely to change. until I’ve finished Phantom Hourglass that is..

Where’s the Nintendo 64 option??

Oddly enough, the DS sees more daily use because of some great homebrew programs (DSZhongWen, MoonShell, and Colors) but the Wii is where my gaming happens.
However, my wife still enjoys playing Animal Crossing on our DS - and New Super Mario Bros has made an appearance more than once to kill a few minutes while travelling.

There needs to be an “about the same” option. I play whichever one I have a new game for. I went with DS because I’m playing Zelda now. I guess overall it’s gotten more playtime.

I get more playtime on the DS because it is more flexible. Play it wherever I want.
Toilet Play FTW!

I’ve mainly been playing with Super Metroid on the VC since it dropped in the Wii Shop UK.
I haven’t bought many games for the DS, but when Zelda comes out at the end of the week I’ll be non-stop on that (untill Metroid Prime 3 comes out a week later then things will change)

I would say an equal amount, but there’s no option for that.

It’s a mix of both for me(Why no poll option for both equally?), but I decided to choose Wii because I spend more hours running through Mario Bros or playing Metroid Prime 3 than the short bursts I do with my DS.

To those who don’t own either, get one or both you’re missing out!

I must say back when i guess the notice about the glove came out, I couldnt be bothered to turn on my wii so the slot was always glowing blue so i just unplugged it so it didnt bother me anymore….my ds i play just go find out how old my brain really is and to attempt at Hourglass..
thats about it
I am more of a 360 fanboy since i got my elite

Virtual Console keeps me busy. Well the impossibleness of SMB : The Lost Levels keeps me frustrated. I’m addicted actually. Ninja Gaiden keeps me busy too.

Mario Strikers Charged still takes up most of my free time :

yes indeed, why not a poll answer for ‘both equally’. Because i think i’m about there. I just got a wii about a month ago so naturally i had a crazed amount of wii time over my ds time. But like others have said, great games continue to come out for the DS and it’s hardly a platform that can go unnoticed.
And if i bought Strikers for Wii, i probably would not leave the house. dangerous.

My DS vote is the fault of Sonic Rush Adventure. Damn that game is good.

I’ve mainly been playing Scarface, Drgonblade, and Trauma Center (for higher ranks) lately.

The DS gets far more gameplay from me… And you can add the Playstation 2 and the 360 to the list, and I still would put the DS down for the most gameplay! Even with the 360 getting a lot of Halo 3 love lately, my DS still gets most of my attention.
This is in part because I spent almost all of last week in the hospital with our newborn, so I brought my DS to pass by the sleepless nights… Damn that Etrian Odyssey!! Because of that game, I haven’t even been able to start playing my Phantom Hourglass!!

sweet sweet ds.
if they ban it from planes though, i’ll be voting gba or (gawd forbid!) ‘books’
ds is really my ‘on the road’ system though. at home i still hit the pc for most gaming.

DS, because it’s portable and I’ve got to share my TV with less game-inclined folks.
At the moment, I’m playing Sonic on the VC, and Phantom Hourglass on the DS. Waiting for Metroid Prime 3 and Guitar Hero III, and thinking about buying a classic controller to play Super Metroid (I’d use a GC controller, but I don’t like it because it’s not wireless).

1 sad soul owns neither. What kind of world are we living in…
October 17th, 2007 at 12:35 pm
I am that sad soul. I must admit that I have either.
The reality is that I have a Super Nintendo. And for a long time, I didn’t have my Super Nintendo. But now I have it back.
And in my personal opinion, until I’ve collected and beaten all the Incredible games on what many, including myself, consider the greatest system ever, I am not purchasing any new systems.
That, and Snes is cheap! I have no money!
But if anyone wants to chuck a Wii or DS my way, I will catch gladly.

I hope to god your kidding…
October 17th, 2007 at 5:39 pm
Actually, I’M that sad soul; I’m the one whom voted on the poll. I just forgot to post about it, I guess.
I feel ya, ‘-_Q’, I feel ya. I had my SNES from ‘92 to ‘01 because of money. Don’t get me wrong, the SNES is my favourite system, but it wasn’t fun seeing all my friends playing with their N64s and PS1s while I was stuck replaying A Link to the Past for the 76th time (one of my favourite games, but it gets boring after, oh, I’d say 40 playthroughs). And now, due to a terminal illness, I can’t work, and our financial situation has become even worse, so I most likely will never get a Wii or DS. But hey, there’s no point in feeling down about it, and I do have a Gamecube, so… yeah.

i’d be interested in seeing the results if “world of warcraft” were an option in this poll
