FnbyDstryr over in the Forums noticed that the DS download demos from the Nintendo Channel have changed. The following titles have been added:
Brain Age
The Spiderwick Chronicles
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
Eco Creatures: Save the Forest
My Word Coach
Iron Man
All of the others, except for Flash Focus and Crosswords DS were removed from the original batch. Hopefully you were able to check out the awesome demo for Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword before it disappeared.

Well thats cute, get rid of the games that are actually games from the DS list.

All the new ones are pretty lame, with the exception of Apollo Justice, which is pretty cool.

whats weird isnt just the removal of demos, which honestly makes no sense, but the fact that the service just launched last week didnt it? one week for everybody to try a demo?

@waltermh:
Well, they left a couple. Since the Nintendo Channel can track usage, they probably just dump the ones that aren’t getting any hits. If anything, it’s a motivation to check the channel frequently.

Wow, Apollo Justice, that’s frackin’ awesome! Everyone, check it out, awesome game.
This bodes well for future DS demos.

All the games have a one week distribution date on them except the Brain age, flash focus and crosswords. if you hold the cursor over the game it will tell you all the new titles will expire on the 18th in which case a new selection of demos will be distributed

WHY remove the other demos at all?
Surly they can stay for months, on another page, if need be. X-box live has Dozens of demos, dating back for a very long time.
Stupid decision to remove the ” old” demos. ESPECIALLY after only a week.
Now, to try out IRON MAN..you know… before the REMOVE it so we can not download it…in what 6 more days?
LAME

@nm15062
Well that certainly sucks. The hell’s the point of that? I’m assuming server space, but this isn’t really consumer friendly, and will not help out respective developers if their games are taken down so quickly, especially when it takes considerable time and money to even make a demo. For shame, Nintendo.

Notice the games that stuck around are nintendo published or developed? The other games are 3rd party ones. Maybe they have to pay per week if they wanna keep their demos available to the public or something like that.

well i could understand if nintendo added demos, but taking them off?? i mean at least they could have messaged wii owners that it was happening
May 12th, 2008 at 11:21 pm
sorry for double comment.
i’ll probably check out iron man and apollo justice

Iron Man wasn’t as bad as it should be. The fact that you can only shoot 2 types of weapons (Demo version of course) was lame. However if this was expanded a little it could be an alright title.

I just found out now from reading this artical , This just pure suks, like some said XBOX LIVE still has demos from day one, I dont see the point of removing them, I mean how many ppl still havent downloaded the Nintendo Channel yet, its only been out for one week! What if i wanna go back and look at the DS catalog and see what I’ve missed? what’s the point then if my friend tells me well to late its been removed.
Nintendo always has a good start but sometimes it self destruct, so why take them off, instead keep adding to the list, is that a way to keep ppl coming back to check the channel?
so why not do the same with the VC with games not so popular, if the VC can keep adding to their catalog why not the DS downlaod service, is not like they are using seperate severs ..
Me, I like options even if I dont used them but its good to know its there.. you just never know when.

My god! Who is running the show over there?!??!?!?!??
You can still download pretty much ALL the demos EVER published on XBOX 360 and for the PC. Expiration dates? That’s CRAZY. Someone in marketing thought it would be a great way to get people to come back to the Wii more often? Here’s a clue - make the experience great - not gimmicky!

Whaaaaaat? :(. At least I tried the Jam Sessions demo, pretty sweet.

They’re doing new stuff every week. Not sure why they’d remove the old ones over than just server space, but it’s giving you a chance to try new games every week and by removing them it kinda forces you to either buy it or try something else… cause remember the point is to get you to buy them not keep playing the same single level over and over for more than a week… If it was the same demos every time it’d be lame. I’m really excited they’re rotating them. The whole Nintendo Channel has made me quite happy giving me a chance to see what’s coming for nintendo without having to search for videos on all the gaming sites. It’s just commercial’s but what a great way to reach your audience by an opt-in self-navigated channel right on the device you’re selling the games for! They *could* be making in-game ads and banners on the channel menu….
