Crimson Onyx DS available in October

Sure, you can buy the Brain Age 2 bundle and get a sassy little red and black DS Lite, but what if you hate the disembodied, floating head of Dr. Kawashima? Last night I wandered into the best GameStop in the greater Boston area* and spotted a slick cardboard stand-up ad for Phantom Hourglass. Perched at the top of that sign was a picture of a Crimson Onyx DS Lite and the words “Available in October!”
Anyone get a red and black DS yet? If not, will you get an un-bundled one in October?
*at Prudential .. has a huge used inventory

Ugly. I’d rather have an all Black, or all red one.

I think it looks pretty cool. I guess this only applies for USA so I’ll just settle with the Silver DS Lite when it arrives here (in Europe) in October, one day before my birthday, yay!

I would prefer to get it with the techinically free game, although I do have the original DS, I thought i read somewhere that only the DS lite can talk to the wii’s.

Ugly, looks like a flattened cherry coke truck! Black DS Lite all the way! Silver would be cool to.

I have the red and black DS Lite, and think it looks amazing. I was a little upset that the whole thing wasn’t red, so I got a decal put on the inside and it looks much better now:

Jamaces: The bundle costs $150, which is the DS ($130) and Brain Age 2 game ($20). If you got them seperately it would be the same price.
I am holding out for the silver DSLite. Or I’ll get a black one and mod it to look like an Oreo! But first I have to pay off GHIII…

I’m still playing on my old DS that I got bundled with Mario Kart DS… I just can’t bring myself to buy another one when I can play the same stuff on my old one… A man can dream, though, a man can dream…

I got the bundle and sold BA2 to a friends mom.
All my friends think it’s kinda blah but I enjoy the new color and different texture on the DS lite.

Decent design, but I wouldn’t buy a second DS just for the color change.
