Sony and Microsoft might as well just pack up and start selling kitchen appliances. The Wii Sensor Bar Stand is patented plastic.

14 year patent? Damn! Nintendo really doesn’t want anyone stealing their Z shaped plastic. Now if they can only find some way to stop Microsoft and Sony from developing a system that is similar to the Wii then Nintendo can dominate the market for the next 2 or 3 generations of consoles.

@ Attilio:
Agreed.
Did I ever mention Wii rip-off consoles? There’s the Vii in China, which is totally not obvious. And in America, we have a computer console attachement called the Game Box, played exactly like the Wii.

@ deepthought:
It came with the Wii packaging. If you still have the box around, look for it. I kept the box, but never found the stand until a few months ago.

Is Nintendo ever going to release that little sensor bar stand as a stand-alone product, for, say, less than $5?? I really need an extra one to switch from the top to the bottom of my TV at the drop of a hat!
