Japanese news site called Data-Max has reported today that Cing, the developer who made games such as Hotel Dusk, Little King’s Story, and Trace Memory has filed for bankruptcy. Cing was reportedly in the red some 256 million yen.

This is indeed a sad day. As it appears that any hope of the sequel to Hotel Dusk, Last Window, being released in the US has been closed.
