Cave Story Good Things Coming Soon…

There was a rumor on the internet (originating from IGN) that Cave Story was going to launch sometime in September of this year. That would mean a Quarter 3 WiiWare release, however the good people from Nicalis have recently shot down that accusation.
I think Matt at IGN must have gotten his wires crossed. We’re aiming to release Night Game around September. Pixel, Tiffany, Yann, Nicklas, Michaela and I are working as fast as we can to get you Cave Story very, very soon. We’ll have a big update within the next two weeks.
Things seem to be looking good judging from the intro screen. Although the “©2008″ needs to be updated to “©2009″. This might be the first real WiiWare purchase for me in a long time, anyone else looking forward to this game?

I am definitely interested in this title. My most recent purchase was bit.trip beat, just a couple weeks ago though. Highly recommended.

Oh man. I can’t even count how many times I’ve played through Cave Story. It’s such a great game, with its amazing music, fun gameplay, and interesting story. I’m totally gonna grab this as soon as it comes out. Cave Story holds a little place in my heart.

Man, the phrase “instant classic” is pretty hackneyed, but I think it applies perfectly to this game. I actually can’t wait to pay money for this.

I just may get it. It looks right up my alley, and I haven’t made any Wiiware purchases as of yet.

I’ll probably get it just to sned some money in pixels direction. I don’t really have much interest in playing the game again, but I would like ot give him something for it.
