Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Trailer

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 at 8:47pm by Jake

The November release will most likely be moved to next summer due to the recent movie delay which has set the sixth film back to July 2009. Though we’ll have to wait almost another year I’m still loving the EA support for the Wii version. It’s one of the few mulitplatform games that is pushing the Wii build as the one to buy.

Intro: Mario Super Sluggers

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 at 6:30am by Will

Just like all the previous Mario sports titles once a year all the characters in the series get together for some non-canon fun. All without worry of some bothersome kidnapping from Bowser or the ever so sly, smelly, scheme of Wario. I have to honestly say that I have never really been a fan of any of the sports titles. They just do not do anything for me, and after watching the introduction to Super Sluggers, I kind of feel depressed. After seeing a few WiiMotes turn into bats, and Nunchucks become balls, I don’t think I can be serious about this game. Maybe it’s just me and my standards for a Mario game, but I would like to know how you feel about the Mario sports titles? Also, is anyone planning to pick this up on the 25th?

Dead Rising Wii: Chop Till You Drop - Weapon Footage

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 at 2:44am by Jake

I know well and good that the Wii is an underpowered console, and that Dead Rising is a large Xbox 360 game, but these animations look like crap. I can count at least 10+ bugs in this one video.

Come on Capcom! We thought you were the king of solid ports! N64 visuals are over!

Trailer - Chrono Trigger DS

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008 at 7:00am by Will

Chrono Trigger is a console role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System video game console. It was released on March 11, 1995 in Japan, and August 22, 1995 in North America.
It is considered one of if not the best of the Super Nintendo role-playing games. The game’s story follows a group of young adventurers who travel through time to prevent a global catastrophe. The game was one of the first game to feature multiple different endings depending on who was in your party or when you beat the game. It is a true classic and I can honestly say everyone I know is excited for this game being released on the Nintendo DS.

Trailer - Final Fantasy Tactics A2

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 at 6:52am by Will

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: The Sealed Grimoire is released today. The game seems to be totally overhauled from it’s Game Boy Advance predecessor, featuring various different features. Most notably is the top screen which always gives you a time line of which characters will be going next, and the many new classes to master. Although the one thing I did notice was that the character sprites seem to have gotten smaller and have less detail then the previous iteration of the game. Anyone picking this one up today or anytime soon?

Trailer - Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 at 12:10pm by Will

The Castlevania games always have been that one series that has remained truly good throughout the years. After watching this trailer, it looks like this game is polished enough to be released sooner than the slated Fall 2008 date. Although that is the release date for Japan, with the US date to be announced, it seems to be another solid DS title heading for us. Although, ever since Symphony of the Night almost all the Castlevania titles have taken a more Action RPG style, do any Infendoites think it is time for a change?

Bizarro World: Super Nintendo Never Existed

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 at 7:48am by Will

You ever wondered what would have happened if the Super Nintendo was never made? Where games would be now without it? I was wondering that myself and somehow stumbled upon a Youtube video of a “Pirated” version of Super Mario World for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and this really got me thinking about where the world of gaming would have been if the SNES never existed. So I pose this question to you Infendo, if the Super Nintendo was never conceptualized, where would the world of gaming be today?

Trailer - ASH: Archiac Sealed Heat

Tuesday, May 27th, 2008 at 4:35pm by Will

ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat was originally released in Japan on 2007, and was something I became very interested in acquiring. However, it looked pretty slim that it was going to be released over here. That is, until I looked up some ESRB ratings and saw this:

ESRB Rating

The game is produced by Mistwalker, which is a Japanese gaming company that was made by Hironobu Sakaguchi the creator of the Final Fantasy series. ASH looks very reminiscent to previous Final Fantasy games, the only thing difference is that the game is a tactical RPG. It’s great to see another well made RPG hit the DS, and I honestly can’t wait to play it.

Summon Night: Twin Age will be released on June 3rd, and is a continuation of a long series of Summon Night games (mostly released in Japan). DS Trailer - LOL

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 at 3:00pm by Will

In the same vein of Wario Ware and Work Time Fun, comes a party game that is being developed by Route24. Although, it just seems to be a re-skinned PictoChat with some slightly enhanced features, the game is actually a little more developed and involving than ping pals. The main focus of the game is asking questions and doing quick puzzles with the people around you. Of course you will need more than two people with DS’s (one with the game) to enjoy this, but that’s just the generally snag with these multilayer only games.
