Virtual Console Monday - Helix, Ys Book I & II, and Samurai Shodown 2

Ys Book I & IIAnother Monday and it’s time to go shopping.  Looks like we have a new WiiWare rhythm game called Helix and a couple of eagerly awaiting Virtual Console releases, Ys Book I & II and Samurai Shodown 2.  Not a bad haul for Virtual Console fans.  Helix on the other hand is a bit questionable due to lack of information.  The publisher, Ghostfire Games, has a listing for open job positions on their main web page.

But I digress … Anything here catch your eye?

Mega Man out on Virtual Console tomorrow eventually!

VC-Reviews has confirmed that Mega Man will be out for the Virtual Console tomorrow.  No, it’s not Mega Man 9, but the original.  They also found out that Mega Man 2 will be out in September.  Also out tomorrow are NEOGEO fighter Samurai Shodown II and the TG16 RPG Ys Book I & II.

So, will you buy Mega Man on Monday or wait for Mega Man 2?  Or are you just going to hold out for Mega Man 9?

Wii Shop Channel Monday - Pong Toss, Chase HQ, and Art Of Fighting 2

Pong Toss Wii WiiWareLooks like Strong Bad won’t be making an appearance on your Wii before the end of July.  Instead, we have Pong Toss: Frat Party Games for WiiWare.  Classic cop car smasher Chase HQ and another NEOGEO installment of Art Of  Fighting appear for the Virtual Console.  Read all about them after the jump.
