Captain Olimar returns to Smash Bros.

Smash Bros. fans woke up to a slight surprise this morning on the game’s official website when it was revealed that Pikmin mainstay, Captain Olimar, would be making a return to the title’s roster. More than ten images are shown (so far, only the Wii U version of Olimar is being displayed) on the Smash Bros. website depicting Olimar in the game’s various fighting arenas. Olimar, once again, is joined by a small Pikmin army in his ranks to duke it out with the likes of Smash Bros. newcomers such as the Villager from Animal Crossing, Wii Fit Trainer, and Mega Man. Olimar first made his Smash Bros. appearance in 2008’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii.
