Capcom planning “something like” Bionic Commando for Wii

Capcom’s own Christian Svensson suggested today in an interview with N-Europe that Capcom may have plans to bring “something like” Lost Planet or Bionic Commando to Wii.
Vague enough? Here’s the quote:
N-Europe: Are we going to see Bionic Commando, Lost Planet or something like this on the Wii?
Svensson: Possible…the “or something like this” part we could talk about in a couple weeks perhaps.
Expect an announcement at or prior to E3. Until then, Infendo sleuths, I beseech you; what could this mysterious game be?

That is good news.
I would LOVE to see an all new RE game using an enhanced RE4 engine and proper motion controls, but I don’t think that will be it. =(
Maybe something new. Or, maybe Dead Rising 2… =)
I just hope to see ANYTHING interesting that is not a mini game from capcom…

I really think they could release RE5 on the Wii. From the videos they released so far, the gameplay seems to be the same from RE4 (even the enemies behave similarly). I haven’t seen anything the wii can not do, except in the graphics department. They certainly could do it if they wanted to.
Too bad I won’t be playing RE5 anytime soon. But I’ll look forward to this new game, if it makes a good wiimote use, just like RE4.

Quite probably a spinoff on the Wii. I’m wondering if maybe they’ll do something more like the 2.5D Bionic commando using simple gestures to activate the grapple or using the cursor to direct the hook with precision.
