Animal Crossing: New Leaf has sold over 6 million copies

During Nintendo’s investor’s meeting this week, the company announced that the critically-acclaimed 3DS title, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, has reached a lifetime sales mark of 6.35 million copies sold worldwide. From April to September, New Leaf sold to around 2.49 million copies highlighting one of the 3DS’ biggest sellers to date. Other notable titles that sold extremely well included Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon moving 1.91 million units, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D at 1.19 million, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team at 1.37 million, and Tomodachi Collection at 1.63 million copies sold.
