Game trailers has a video up of Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata talking about Wii’s Mario Kart trick system and also the inclusion of bikes in the game. The footage isn’t great but it’s exciting to see some of the new game-play elements, and in the end of the video Iwata does confirm a spring 2008 release.

Agreed. I’m very untrusting of Nintendo after Brawl. And before someone jumps on me, lemme explain: of course I knew it was going to get delayed. No one (hopefully) was dumb enough to believe that Nintendo would release the Big Three all in the same year, all within the last 4 months of the year. The sales would simply cannabilize one another. If they had just stated from the get go that they were wrong about saying they would all be there before year’s end, I would’ve definitely been more lenient on them.
But no…trying to save face and waiting until 2 months ’til Brawl to tell us. Jerk faces.
