10:08 - Reggie says Wii isn’t a fad
10:07 - Dunaway blabs about more pokemon

10:04 - Shiggy, drummer, and others play a Wii Music song together: Super Mario Brothers
10:03 - Many modes in Wii Music including Orchestra mode, and others. Will record videos of their performances.
10:02 - Explains Wii Balance board use with Drums. Comes with drum tutorials
10:01 - Shiggy shows off motions for Guitar, Piano, Violin, Percussion
9:59 - Miyamoto explains that when playing sax all he does is hit a button which will set your time with music. over 50 instruments in Wii Music.

The intro thing is much more community based than Microsoft’s, which was more game oriented. To be expected from Nintendo. They better surprise me with something good this E3.

I love watching it live, but the one thing you will never get live is what happens before hand! The room filling up, any delays, when it’s about to start, etc.

Ninja - just commenting. the boards got a little… well, i don’t want to badmouth anybody or anything. i’ll just saying the community had changed drastically from when i had joined and leave it at that.
i’m going to lunch now but i’m gonna eat super fast and try to get back here to chill on the computers for the last half hour of my lunch break and hopefully see what’s going on.

So, where is this game that was supposed to appeal to both hardcore and casual gamers alike? Animal Crossing? And what’s with the WiiSpeak? It looks like it will pick up all the noise in the room. I notice that in the demo all you could hear was voices and not fans, dogs, and other family members in the background… A headset would be much better. And where’s our storage? I could have sworn I saw something that looked like a white USB hard drive in that last product shot. I’ll have to wait for the downloadable video to find out what the hell I was looking at.

No DK C for Wii,
no Zelda, NO Mario, NO Kid Icarius,
no Wii Motion Plus for Wii Music,
Wii Music looks dumb,
even the Wii Sport Resort with the Wii Motion Plus doesn’t looked 1:1
No new REAL FRANCHISE (Wii music?)))
No Pikmin,
No Star Fox,
No Metroid…
Nothing new for the DS Hardware wise…
I KNEW this were going to suck since the first lady came with a big fake smile trying to convince us she was happy…

I am honestly very sad an disappointed. E3 this year fell right into the lap of all those that have been saying the Wii is a kid system. Which it is not. But unfortunately with the music (Hit a button any button to play music without skill) and the announcement of the new wii sports title I was awe struck by how upset I was waiting and praying that they somehow were joking or had something up their sleeves.
The only thing in the announcement that I believe was worth it was Animal Crossing. Other then that they missed a Flurry of titles they could have released that made people go wow.
(Dont even get me started on how pointless adding a motion attachment to a motion controller is)
Maybe even announce some of the big titles like soul calibur IV with its own unique character pushing the hardware or a plethora of other titles that are skipping the Wii.
(BTW I am very angry with Square not putting FF 13 on the original console as well as the other consoles)
I was just so dissapointed after watching the whole thing. It was like watching a very bad, sad, school play disaster on stage.
PLease nintendo please!!! have something more up your sleeves then this!.

I think Nintendo is starting to pervert their concept of Hardcore Gamers…
and are starting to REALLY make this “casual = dumb” real.
The common ground where nintendo is trying to bring “casuals” and “harcore” is the “dumbed down” games arena… ¿why not a more a challenging ground?
Thousands and thousands of people around the globe play chess, a challenging yet fun game, people LIKE challenges, have FUN with competition.
Wii Music is a dumbed down Guitar Hero, where you only imprint rhythm and the console makes everything for you.
I knew Mario Kart Wii was the limit, where you can have fun and trying to be competitive at the same time… Nintendo is going to far in this “everybody, plays, everybody wins doing nothing”.

But the drummer was terrible and if that was supposed to show how good the response was for the drum set motion control it made it look like poop. (Either that or the professional drummer was really poopy)
I hope there are some more games up coming that we havent heard of yet that redeem this years E3.

I think it’s mostly a kid system seeming as I’m a kid and I thought the conference was great!Except for CoD and GTA.
