5 Bandai Namco Games That Should Be on Switch

With the rumors that Bandai Namco will be announcing 5 games for Switch on December 15th I thought it would be a good time to find 5 games or series that would be a good fit for Switch.  Some of these games mean more to me than others but all of them are highly regarded games with fan bases that would love the thought of them on Switch.

Tekken

The Switch doesn’t really have many fighting game with the exception of Pokkén Tournament. Tekken 7 has gotten a good reception with an eighty-two on metacritic and it could really round out the modern 2D fighting genre in the Switch’s library. While this isn’t personally my favorite fighting series I know there are a lot of fans of the series.

Soulcaliber

I remember first playing this series on GameCube and it was the first time I had ever thought that a fighting game was perfect. These games have a history of being among the best fighting games have to offer.  If they could add Mario or Link to their roster I think this would be the fighting game to have on Switch.

Dark Souls

This is a series it hurts me to admit I’ve never sunk a lot of time into.  I’ve seen a ton of people want these games ported over to Switch including our very own Eugene who i know is a big fan of the Series. Having Dark Souls on the go would be the perfect way to play the series and it might give people who somehow missed it a chance to finally play it.

.hack

This series is one I know very well. For those who havent been following the series it was a JRPG series that was cranking out games on the PS2 and then one day suddenly vanished.  They recently released a new addition to the series and a new JRPG is always welcome on the Switch which is shaping up to be a great RPG console.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

I immediately wanted this game on Switch after I saw it a E3. Anyone who hasn’t seen a trailer of this game needs to go and watch one right now because everyone I’ve spoken to about it loves it. Dragon Ball is a fighting game from the people who made BlazBlue so they definitely know how to make good fighting games. Just like Tekken this would also help fill the void of modern fighting games on the Switch.

Bandai Namco have a ton of games that would be great on the Switch. These five are the ones that seem to make the most sense on the console right now. Tekken, Soulcaliber and Dragon Ball FighterZ would help one of the weakest parts of the current Switch lineup. .hack is an interesting jrpg that need to make a return and I can’t help but think that putting it on the switch would make the gamers that much more inclined to but it. Dark Souls has a very devoted fan base that would love to be able to take Dark Souls on the go. If the rumors prove true and the Switch gets even one of these there is a lot of reason to be excited.
