If you are familiar with dungeon crawling games and the various dangerous F.O.E.’s waiting to get you, and by F.O.E.’s I mean all manner of creatures, creepy crawlies, and monsters await you on and beneath and above the water off the coast of Armoroad.
Any adventurer knows they will need to be prepare and spend a lot of time battling to gain experience and perfect the “Combat System”, and we all know once you do that, you’ll enjoy beating the sea foam out of everything.

The only way you will ever hear me say that a “movie mode” in Metroid Other M is a “good idea” is if Team Ninja has also installed an option that allows me to play the game without any cutscenes or cheesy voice acting whatsoever.

This fan made game based on the Mega Man universe has surfaced on the net. It’s a pretty interesting example of what we believe Mega Man Universe might be so I thought I’d share it with the rest of you.
Also, Ryu would be the the hardest boss in Mega Man history if this was real.
This little trailer ended up in my e-mail box along with a plea to help them find a game publisher. So while it’s awesome, it doesn’t exactly mean it’s coming out on the DS anytime soon. However, the game elements are very unique and well done for a weird game that transcends both basic side scrolling platforming and space shmup styles.

Sorry if this grosses you out. I think I’m more disgusted than any of you, though. I’ve noticed that if I don’t use my Nunchuk for a few weeks, the control stick builds up some seriously nasty slime. I never eat when I play video games and I don’t smoke. What’s more, I’m kind of a germaphobe, so I wash my hands A LOT. That includes before and after I touch video game controllers. What could possibly be the cause of this?
Does anyone else have this problem?
Edgar Wright’s film adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim comic series is looking awesomer and awesomer. According to Siliconera, who saw a screening of the film at Comi-Con, the movie utilizes remixed music and iconic sound effects from The Legend of Zelda series, notably, The Great Fairy Theme.
To acquire permission from Nintendo for the use of the song, director Edgar Wright had to write to Shigeru Miyamoto and allow him a special screening of the film. In his letter to the Zelda creator, he wrote: “This music is like nursery rhymes to a generation.” Apparently Mr. Miyamoto approved, for the song made it into the film. -Zelda Universe
If you’re unfamiliar with Scott Pilgrim, shame on you. The entire comic series is available on Amazon and I highly recommend you read it while you wait for the film to be released on August 13th.

As always, it’s not how many colors you use, or how many polygons or processing power or anything of the sort. It’s how you use the tools and your creativity that makes a great game. So September’s the big month for 3DS. Pricing, release date, Reggie Fils-Aime jumping out of a big Nintendo is King cake just like that douche Lebron James and all will be right with the world.
Or will it? Rumors and speculation have the price for this genuinely industry-energizing device fluctuating wildly, anywhere from $129 all the way up to a suicidal $300. My guess? $179 to $199, but probably smack dab in the middle. Here’s why:
