Do you see those arms in the air? That is pure happiness.
You’ve just finished locking up a drug dealer and are in the middle of raiding his home. How do you celebrate?
A) Play Wii Sports Boxing to relieve stress.
B) Play Wii Sports Tennis.
C) Play Wii Sports Bowling.
For police officers in Polk County, Florida the obvious answer was “C,” play Wii Sports Bowling. Officers where caught on a surveillance camera hidden in the drug dealer’s home taking breaks from cataloging items to play Wii Sports Bowling. The incident is currently being investigated and disciplinary measures may be taken.
What’s the worst part of the police officers’ shenanigans? They weren’t wearing their Wiimote straps. Shame on them. You can catch a video of their Wii Sports Bowling skills in action here.

Aspyr just sent over a copy of Fighting Fantasy The Warlock of Firetop Mountain. Which is the book the upcoming DS game of the same name is based on. Fighting Fantasy is apparently a long series of choose your own adventure books that were really popular in Europe but never really caught on in the US.
The real attractive thing about this book is that you actually get to make a character. It’s like Dungeons and Dragons in a book, where you have a character sheet and skills that your make before reading the book. While this is really awesome hype of the game. I honestly can’t wait to get reading this being a Dungeons and Dragon junky.
The game is set to launch on October 12th.

Back in June, 5th Cell (creators of Drawn to Life and Locke’s Quest) blew everyone away at E3 with their new game, Scribblenauts, and its motto: Write Anything, Solve Everything. People were amazed by the idea of a game that could conjure up any object the user could imagine (except copyrighted or profane). Boasting a dictionary of over 22,800 words, Scribblenauts promised to be the most imaginative game of this generation. The question is, does it pull it off? The answer: yes, but with a few imperfections.

PRESS RELEASE — MUSHROOM KINGDOM— Infendo, a fan site that features the web’s most intelligent discussion of all things Nintendo, has now expanded into another country and added two new writers. “It’s really been my lifelong dream to have an in-road to the pulse of Canada’s gaming community,” exclaimed Infendo founder, Blake Snow. Brushing the crumbs off his chin, Snow continued, “We’ve been lucky to have a bunch of Americans and one lone Japanese correspondent, but this Canada thing really sets it off for me!”

According to the press release earlier on the price drop for the Wii. Nintendo let it slip that New Super Mario Bros will be shipping on November 15th, and it is not really surprising the game played really solidly at E3. Anyway, I know what I will be playing on Thanksgiving, so thanks Nintendo! Yet, this leaves the holiday season rather blank for releases. All we have to look forward to from Nintendo in December is Spirit Tracks.
Are there any games that you are really looking forward to?

Ghost Trick combines mystery, logic puzzles and the supernatural into a new experience on Nintendo DS. Part adventure game, part puzzle game, Ghost Trick’s game play will challenge player’s brains while its distinctive art style and character designs courtesy of members of Capcom’s Ace Attorney series, will please the eye.
In Ghost Trick, players become Sissel, an amnesiac ghost who must use his ghostly powers to protect the lives of several people while attempting to uncover the secrets behind his own untimely demise. Sissel can “possess” items within the world, such as flicking a switch to shock an unwary assassin or floating a bike through the air to scare mortals and even rewind time by four minutes to prevent further deaths.
Capcom announced that the game will be coming to North America and Europe in 2010.
