Well, it’s time for another round of rhythm game show down. This week we want to know:

My mind is exploding this week .. only one game for Wii, but it’s Guitar Hero 5! And then there’s the second chapter for Tales of Monkey Island, not to mention that some folks will be excited to check out the original Master System version of Phantasy Star. Don’t even get me started on the DLC music for Rock Band 2 this week, either … Christmas?

The sequel to one of Wii’s best downloadable games has been named: LostWinds: Winter Of The Melodias, according to Edge Magazine. “This sequel has a brand new mechanic which allows the returning hero, Toku, to switch the seasons of the world between summer and winter, using it to his advantage in various puzzles,” reports N-Europe, transcribing the print-only article. “Toku now also has the power to swim, and can create powerful cyclones which can drill through rocks and scoop up water. Other features include a new in-game map and hint system.”
A release date was not confirmed, but logic suggests a winter release is in the cards. The original LostWinds, released last year, was very-well received, despite its short length. Infendo named it the seventh best Wii game of 2008, in fact. Long live, Toku!

Infendo reader Jeffrey managed to find a page on Amazon about the White DSi. Although the page doesn’t function yet, it does show the release date for the systems new color.

Needs more gameplay video! But I’ll take your word for it, sir, since you have non-bias back up. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare arrives Nov. 10 on Wii, two years after the game was first release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The original is one of my favorites of this generation, solely for its intensity and creative level design, so I definitely plan to replay it on Wii, using my incredible gesture dexterity.

This is random Saturday where we present you with a random picture to give a caption or title. So would you kindly give this picture a title?

Miyamoto the inventor of the visor system? That’s what Retro says. Pretty cool little vid, care of IGN.

Curious about Wii homebrew, but don’t want to lock your Wii? This nifty Life Hacker tip might be the best of both worlds:
How does it work? The hack exploits the Wii menu itself, loading a fake banner which causes a system crash and allows the exploit to load unsigned code. During our field testing it took—not counting time to carefully read the instructions and take photographs—less than ten minutes to complete the process.
For the adventurous, let us know how it turned out.
