Screw Mike Tyson, it’s Doc Louis’s Punch-Out!! Club Nintendo rewards revealed!
Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 at 3:49pm by SeanKotaku (and Will apparently) already beat me to it, but Club Nintendo’s Gold and Platinum rewards have been revealed – and it includes the first “titled” Punch-Out since the days of Mike Tyson – Doc Louis’s Punch-Out is an exclusive downloadable game available only to Platinum Club Nintendo members. If you reached the highest membership level, you’ll have to choose between the Platinum exclusive Punch-Out brawl with Little Mac’s coach – or an official Mario Hat.
Gold members? You guys get a calendar. Wish you’d registered more games yet? Yeah, me too. Check out Will’s post below for full details.

I really actually torn between the two Platinum prizes. A free game is too good to resist but who knows how long I’ll play that, where as a novelty item (which I’m a sucker for) would be pretty dope either way.
I gotta figure this out lol.

Yeah, I was having a tough time deciding, but I went with the Mario hat. I’m sure the Punch-Out game will be awesome, but I think somebody I know will probably get it, so I’ll most likely get to try it out sooner or later.

I had 2 platinum accounts and actually wound up ordering two hats. The game is really cool, but I feel like I’ll be able to get that one day. And its DLC, which I really dislike… if it came with a case, that would’ve been mine instantly.

Seems like this is a double post of the earlier one by Will. Either way Kotaku did beat Will by about 3 hours.

Kotaku posts on California time, both articles are posted around the same time.

The hat will last for awhile, however dorky it might be. The game only lasts as long as the Wii.

I love DLC, and hate hats.

I chose Doc Louis’s Punch-Out. I’ve seen that hat in person and while it’s a bit giddy thinking about what I’d do with that hat, in the end it’s a bit meh.
Platinum should have got everything and Gold should have had to choose between the calendar and the hat.

oh how great Nintendo, a freaking calender. I spent how much money on games? I don’t ask for much. Maybe some good games during the summer, can’t get that. So I get a piece of crap paper calender. Hell even the platinum stuff is absolute junk. a mario hat made out of unknown materials, and a mini game where you punch your coach in the face.
ugh
