Hooray games! Nintendo has revealed its full lineup of notable 2009 titles. The upcoming (a hem 2009) ones you care about: Professor Layton, Mario & Luigi, and Zelda sequels highlight the Nintendo DS lineup. Metroid Prime Trilogy, Wii Fit Plus, and New Super Mario Bros. headline Wii’s lineup.

But wait, there’s more! Guitar Hero 5, Spyborgs, Madden 10, Dead Space, Silent Hill, and Beatles Rock Band underscore third-party Wii standouts. Should be a good time, at least if you’re like me and play less than 10 hours per week. If not, check Kotaku for the complete list to satisfy your fix, including announced games for 2010.

Now that the combined number of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort events totals 15 now—hopefully you’ve played all of them—which ones are your favorite? Here are mine. Tell me I’m wrong!

The Nintendo news scene went a bit wild after a reported “Nintendo Rep” said that Nintendo was going to focus on WiiWare and push away from the Virtual Console.

That did not please a lot of Nintendo fans as soon after their was a rebuttal by almost everyone. Fans going so far as to try and rock twitter with a #SaveWiiVirtualConsole hash tag. However, Nintendo heard about the rumor and has posted a response to it saying that… (more…)

Nintendo is at it again, trying really hard to stomp any homebrew and piracy on their devices. They have just released System Menu 1.4 in Europe and in America that brings support for facebook but also blocks out a flash card.

If you use the AceKard 2i I would suggest that you didn’t update your DSi since it will not work after the update. (Be aware of your Wi-fi!) As Nintendo may update it automatically without you knowing (its in the terms of agreement). If you do not want to update I’d recommend to turn off your wireless connection in your DSi settings.

Here are the following changes for DSi system menu…

• Facebook support in “Nintendo DSi Camera” application. You can now share your photos in your facebook account.
• New version of Nintendo DSi Browser
• Acekard 2i blocked. Other cards confirmed also at GBATemp

Wait! You’re telling me Japan likes some monster hunter? Na!

“This is the first third party Wii game to have an initial shipment of over 1 million units in Japan. As a series, Monster Hunter has now surpassed 10 million units shipped.”

Not bad for a “Pay-to-Play” online title. The online features will cost Japanese gamers 800 Wii points for 30 days, 1,500 points for 60 days, and 2,000 points for a 90 day “Hunting Ticket”. North American/Europe online price points have not been confirmed. Capcom will be bringing the third console installment of the franchise to the United States in 2010.

Monster Hunter ‘Tri-’ sits high up on my most anticipated Wii games list. How about you?
