Nostalgia is a game that is set in an alternate real world 19th-century Earth. In this alternate world people have control over magic and electronic technology has declined in favor of Steam Punk style technology. However, the most interesting thing about Nostalgia is that the game that is suppose to give you that Nostalgic feeling of playing an old school Super Nintendo RPG. While giving you a completely new experience that is refreshing, something most Final Fantasy Role Playing Game can’t give you.

It’s a bland melange of every other title out there with the greatest voice cast in videogame history.  I’m sorry, but the Ghostbusters could NOT pick up large rocks with their proton packs.  What do you folks think?  [I did, however, watch the movie again last night and it is still one of the funniest movies ever, even edited on AMC.]

Was Super Mario Bros. 3 just a stage show? Or was it something so much more?

If anyone remembers that article I posted a while back about a rumored remake of Final Fantasy VI? It would seem that the creation was not actually made by Square but by a very dedicated fan by the name of Edward. Spoony Bard jokes aside, it would seem that he found our article and gave us the 411 on the info. So if you are interested in his art you can check out his deviant art page.

Sorry for the confusion guys, but in all seriousness, who wouldn’t want to see a 3D remake of Final Fantasy VI?

I got mine in 2006, nine days after the system was released. Due to a family engagement, I was unable to buy the system the night of launch. But it probably worked out to my advantage, because I understand a lot of people were turned away that night, even after waiting several hours in line to get one. (more…)

Both Amazon and GameStop have listed DJ Hero for $120, which includes the turntable peripheral. Now I really like DJ Hero, having played it at E3 (game was dang fresh, although the guitar + DJ mode was lame). But this is getting ridiculous! In 2005, Guitar Hero with guitar cost $69. Now a $50 premium? But hey, if the market will bear it, the market will bear it. Will see if it does once DJ Hero drops Oct 27 on Wii.
