Run Mario… RUN!

Sony really messed up by sticking those stupid purple knobs on the end of their sticks. It means you can’t hold it NES style for racers…

@gojiguy
well they couldn’t make it look like the wiimote because then they would be infringing on Nintendo’s copyright, so I guess they decided to make it look like a scepter instead

Mario is running home to get his enchanced wiimote with WM+ and kick ass =]

GST passes with flying colors its first big test with IGN.
8.5
Great gameplay, new standar for motion controled games, WM+ makes it that much greater. Overall, a must have along with Tiger, which Bozon hinted sees as a 9-ish game in the scale.
Also, check out my conduit post in the forums! =]

I hope there’s an update for the Wii making MotionPlus backwards compatible.

All I see is Nintendos competition bowing down to them in honor of the true next gen experience. Nintendo has now more experience creating motion controllers, therefore, by now they know what must be done, unlike microsoft and sony just barely getting on the ball.
gojiguy: you posted a great observation
(still waiting for Star Fox, and F-Zero)

well hopefully sony figures out that you’ll need to screw off those purple knobs so we can race NES style! lol

Shouldn’t this cartoon be the other way around?
I envision Mario, armed with a Wiimote/MotionPlus, and with a huge sack of confirmed motion control games that are coming out this year on his back, chasing two tech demos (one of which doesn’t even technically have a code name).

@ Jack
I like your version as well.
I think what this one is trying to say is that Sony and Microsoft are trying to catch up to and take a bite out of Mario (Nintendo). The one thing I would have changed about this cartoon, though, is instead of seeing Mario looking all worried and afraid, I think he should have had a cocky, or amused look on his face, kind of like he was saying “too late boys, you’ll never be able to catch up to me.”
