Three games in the works and not a single review score. Only a day after announcing Gladiator AD for Wii, developer High Voltage has announced another game for Wii, dubbed The Grinder, before releasing its first major Wii title next month (The Conduit). IGN has the story:

Today we’ve got a special treat that we think fans of the Left 4 Dead series are simply going to love. It’s called The Grinder and it’s a blood-drenched first-person shooter designed to accommodate four-player online cooperative action.

The game is expected next year, and looks pretty sweet. I’m gonna be bummed if we hyped High Voltage for nothing, but I suspect the developer can deliver.

Joshdad, one of our main Infendo forum contributors and an awesome moderator posted a thread a few days ago. He basically asked what the readers of the forums and infendo would like to be called?

What are we?

Infendoites, Infendonites, Infendonians, Infendoians,
Infendoists, Infendoans, Something else?

What do you think we should be called?

(Maybe we could be the Knights who say “infendo”)

Apparently last month’s update to the German USK ratings service revealed that Gameloft’s “Sexy Poker,” a strip poker video game, is in development for WiiWare, and Australia isn’t happy.

Even the greats like Nintendo are not immune from making horrible, horrible system choices. The Virtual Boy is probably the most ridiculous looking system on this list… To our friends reading this that may be prone to motion sickness or epileptic seizure, you may want to avoid these puke goggles at all cost.

The not-so-portable handheld system released by Nintendo in 1995 was named alongside the Neo Geo, TurboGrafx 16, Atari Jaguar, and a pair of Sega systems to name a few.

If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. That’s what EA is trying to do with EA Sports Active, the publisher’s “Western fitness” alternative to Wii Fit, which has been the best-selling game every month for an entire year. And from early scuttlebutt, it seems EA may have beat Nintendo at its own game. “I am happy to say that EA Sports Active finally bridges the gap between house and gym,” writes 1UP‘s Anthony Parisi, “earning it top honors as the best exercise game currently out for the Wii.” Infendo will have its full review within the next week.

Nazo no Murasamejou was one of the few original Nintendo releases that never made it outside of Japan; this was due to its limited sales success. The game features a similar engine to The Legend of Zelda, but it also features a similar Super Mario style time limit. This was done to make the game a linear fast paced action game. (more…)
